Speaker Ghimire convenes Business Advisory Committee meeting

KATHMANDU, April 10: The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee under the House of Representatives is currently underway. 



This is the first time the BAC meeting has been held after Devraj Ghimire was elected as Speaker. The meeting is being held at the parliament building in New Baneshwor.

Leaders including the chief whips of the parties are present in the meeting. The Speaker's Secretariat said that the meeting will discuss the formation of parliamentary committees, amendments to the regulations for the formation of joint committees and the progress of pending bills in the parliament.


The parliament meeting is also being held this afternoon. Before that, the meeting of the advisory committee is being  held.
