KATHMANDU, Oct 15: A scooter driver died in an accident on the Mugling road section. The deceased is 24-year-old Sangita Bhandari, a resident of Ward No. 6 of Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchowk.

According to Bijay Raj Pandit, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Bhandari was killed when the scooter (BA PRA 02046 PA 1692) went out of control and overturned near Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6.
Bhandari died on the spot in the accident at 7:45 this morning, police said. The body of the deceased has been brought to Bharatpur Hospital for a post-mortem.
