KATHMANDU, August 9: While the writ petition filed against hotelier Karna Shakya is still subjudice at the Supreme Court, Park Village Water Front Resort is operating in full swing on the Lakeside in Pokhara.
Shakya had completed the construction work of the resort encroaching the land of Fewa Lake prior to the verdict of the Supreme Court.

In 2067 BS, advocate Khagendra Subedi had filed a writ petition against the resort at SC mentioning Karna Shakya, Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Department of Industry, Tourism Industry Division, Office of Company Registrar, Office of Cottage and Small Scale Industries as defendants.
