The rate of COVID-19 infection has increased in Banke in recent days. The number of patients visiting hospitals for treatment has started to increase in Bheri Hospital.

Although the cases of infection are on the rise, movement of people and vehicles are not restricted by the local authorities. A large number of locals have shown complete disregard of the request of local authorities to follow health safety protocols including the use of facemasks and sanitizers.
