DAMAULI, June 13: A truck driver died in a road mishap at Ghansikuwa of Vyas municipality-12 along Damauli-Dumre road section on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Upendra Kunwar, 34, of Madi-9 in Chitwan district. The accident took place when cement loaded truck (Na 3 Kha 2786) en route to Pokhara fell some 15 meters off the road after driver lost control of the vehicle, according to the District Police Office.

Similarly, assistant to the driver Purna Bahadur Praja, 28, was injured in the incident and he has been referred to Chiwan from Ratnahari Hospital, Damauli, for further treatment, said police.
Kunwar died while undergoing treatment at Ratnahari Hospital and his body has been kept at Damauli Hospital for post-mortem.
