KATHMANDU, April 4: Renowned singer Rajesh Payal Rai has been released from custody.
Rai was arrested last night for causing disturbances after consuming alcohol.

The police reported that Rai was apprehended along with two others.
The arrest took place near Madan Bhandari College in Kathmandu following complaints from local residents regarding noise and disruption.
Rai, upon release, has reportedly pledged to refrain from engaging in such behavior in the future, as conveyed by the authorities.
