KATHMANDU, Sept 9: After being released from police custody, Shivaraj Shrestha has appeared before court. Shrestha went to the Janakpur High Court on Thursday after being released from the District Administration Office, Dhanusha on a bail of Rs 1,000.
The Janakpur High Court had ordered the DNA test of the child born from Sonali Kumari Singh (Niharika Rajput) and the accused Shrestha as per the request of Niharika.

According to Niharika's demand, the court ordered the DNA test of both of them. Niharika said that Shrestha raped her and as a result the child was born.
The accused Shrestha said that they were in love and had consensual sex at the same time. Dhanusha District Court has already acquitted Shrestha in the crime of coercion.
