Police have arrested singer Durgesh Thapa. Police arrested Thapa, who was dragged into controversy due to the words used in the song 'Happy Tihar, Chiso Beer’ on Tuesday.

A complaint was filed against him in the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. SSP Sahakul Kumar Thapa, chief of the division informed he was arrested immediately after correspondence with the Metropolitan Crime Investigation Division, Teku.
After he was arrested, the video was immediately removed from YouTube.
