KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been elected as the leader of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party through an election held today.

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been elected as the leader of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party through an election held today.

Deuba got 64 votes and was elected as the leader of the NC parliamentary party. Similarly, his rival General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa got only 25 votes. All 89 MPs of the party participated in the voting.
