Ruling NCP to host tea reception-cum-greeting exchange program today

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is hosting a tea reception today in the capital on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals.

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is hosting a tea reception today in the capital on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals.



The party has invited over 50,000 people for the event being held from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Bhrikutimandap, according to NCP leaders.

According to the party, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm has been allocated for general public, party leaders and cadres while 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm has been allocated for VIPs including politicians from various parties, ministers, high-ranking government officials, representatives from the Kathmandu-based diplomatic fraternity, among others.


The NCP is organizing the tea reception for the first time seven months after the two communist parties Communist Party of Nepal (United Marxist Leninist) and Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) merged and launched the new communist party.
