CHITWAN, Sept 9: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed his party workers not to go against the ruling alliance. Deuba, who is also the president of Nepali Congress (NC), came to Chitwan on Friday (today) for the closing program of the first phase of the NC’s campaign to strengthen the alliance “as there is a possibility of forming the government led by the NC in all places in the coming days.”
“It is necessary to save the alliance. The alliance should not be broken under any circumstances," Prime Minister Deuba said, "Speaking against the alliance is a conspiracy to finish off the party." He also instructed the leaders and workers not to speak against the alliance.
Deuba said that there may be some problems in distributing the seats, but it will be more beneficial for the party. He told party cadres that it is not appropriate to protest where the leadership should be pressured for seat allocation. He insisted that the alliance was formed to save the constitution and democracy. He also said that there was a conspiracy to break the alliance by leveling false accusations against it.

“There is a matter of uniting the party. If we can unite the party, we can fight the election alone. If not, let's do it through alliance,” he said, "The most important thing is to unite the party."
