RAUTAHAT, Aug 20: A priest was shot dead at Khesariya in Madhav Narayan Municipality on Wednesday evening.
The priest, who was having his meal after performing the daily evening worship at the local Hanuman temple, died on the spot after receiving a bullet in his head by an unidentified person.

The deceased has been identified as Shreeram Sah.
“The police are yet to find the killer,” said Rautahat Police chief, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rabiraj Khadka. “We have launched a probe into the case.”
Police are also using a trained dog in the investigation. SP Khadka expressed his commitment to find the culprit at the earliest.
