RAUTAHAT, May 26: A 70-year-old man was shot dead in Rautahat.
The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Taib of Karuniya, Dewahi Gonahi municipality.

His body was found a kilometer away from his house on Friday morning.
According to the District Police Office Rautahat, he was shot in the head. Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
