PPMO to blacklist 16 construction companies for stalling construction contracts

KATHMANDU, June 8: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) is preparing to blacklist 16 construction companies that have stalled development works.

KATHMANDU, June 8: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) is preparing to blacklist 16 construction companies that have stalled development works.



The PPMO in a notice on Wednesday said that it is preparing to blacklist various companies as recommended action by various public bodies. The office has requested a written explanation within seven days from the construction companies recommended to be blacklisted by the public body.

Among the construction companies that have been recommended by Road Division, Bhaktapur to be blacklisted are New Construction Services, Nawa Nirman Builders, Arvan Construction, Bluebird Design and Construction and Epic Computers Traders.


Similarly, various public bodies have recommended to blacklist Budhathoki Construction Services, Mabohang Construction Services, Samridha Construction Services, Jai Bhagwati Construction Services, Shubham Construction, Triveni Construction Services, S Construction, BKB Construction and Suppliers, Siddhisai Prakash Construction and Chetana Construction, among others.
