PPMO starts blacklisting companies

KATHMANDU, July 25: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has prepared to blacklist 17 construction and supplier companies.

KATHMANDU, July 25: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has prepared to blacklist 17 construction and supplier companies. After recommendations from various public bodies, the companies are set to be placed on the blacklist.



The process of blacklisting has commenced as the companies recommended by the relevant body for blacklisting failed to respond within 30 days when asked to provide an explanation.

Today, the PPMO issued a notice stipulating a seven-day ultimatum for the companies to submit a written explanation. If no written explanation is provided during this period, the companies will face blacklisting.
