PM directs proactive measures for disaster management

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the bodies concerned to take precautionary measures against possible damage caused by natural disasters during the rainy season and to make disaster management preparations effective.

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the bodies concerned to take precautionary measures against possible damage caused by natural disasters during the rainy season and to make disaster management preparations effective.



On Tuesday morning, the PM gave this instruction to Inspector General of Police, Basanta Kunwar, asking him to be aware of the huge loss of property caused by the floods and landslides in various districts due to rain.
