KATHMANDU, July 6: One person died when a scooter (Ba 83 Pa 4035) was hit by a taxi (Ba 2 Ja 1188) at Babarmahal in the capital on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Dipak Thapa, a pillion passenger, informed the police. Thapa is a permanent resident of Sunkoshi rural municipality-8, Okhaldhunga.

According to DSP Kaushal Budhathoki, Rohit Singh Thakuri, a scooter rider, sustained injuries in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, DSP Budhathoki informed.
Thakuri is a permanent resident of Panauti, Kavre.
