Actress Namrata Shrestha has blamed production unit for poor performance of Nepali films. Addressing at a press meet organized by Film Journalist Association Kaski in Pokhara, Namrata claimed that several Nepali films were back to back flop due to poor production team.

According to Namrata, majority of films are being produced without proper research. Namrata recently starred in ‘Xira’, it hit the theater over the nation since August 24. She portrayed the character of an athlete who is involved in mix martial art in the movie. She received eight-month long training of martial art for the moive. Made under her own production, Ashutosh Raj Shrestha has directed the movie.
