MCA issues 35-day notice to vacate land for start of MCC project

KATHMANDU, March 22: The government has issued a 35-day notice to vacate the land acquired for the construction of a substation under the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact agreement.

KATHMANDU, March 22: The government has issued a 35-day notice to vacate the land acquired for the construction of a substation under the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact agreement. 



The Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Nepal Development Committee, Kathmandu, has directed those concerned to vacate the acquired land in Nuwakot within 35 days.

According to the MCA, it has published the information from Nuwakot on different dates and the compensation and rehabilitation assistance amounts have been determined and its distribution and that transfer of land ownership documents have already been done.
