High Court issues interim order not to implement KMC’s notice to vacate land of Lalita Niwas

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Patan High Court has issued an interim order restraining the implementation of the immediate eviction notice issued to Bhatbhateni Developers Pvt Ltd, which was run by businessman Min Bahadur Gurung on the government land of Lalita Niwas.

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Patan High Court has issued an interim order restraining the implementation of the immediate eviction notice issued to Bhatbhateni Developers Pvt Ltd, which was run by businessman Min Bahadur Gurung on the government land of Lalita Niwas.



The bench of Judge Munendra Prasad Awasthi of Patan High Court issued an interim order not to implement the notice of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) for the prompt evacuation of the Bhatbhateni located on the government land of Lalita Niwas in Baluwatar.

The court issued an interim order in the name of businessman Gurung and Gurung's relative Sarla Ghale Gurung.


After the KMC issued a notice to vacate all structures of Bhatbhateni, a writ petition was filed in the court demanding an injunction order.
