TEHRATHUM, April 20: A woman died while two others sustained injures after being struck by lightning in the district.
The deceased has been identified as Phitrani Rai, 23, of Phedap Rural Municipality-5. Rai died on the spot, said Area Police Office, Sakranti Bazaar.

The lightning struck her while she was cooking food in the kitchen on Wednesday evening.
Similarly, Gita Rai and Tek Bahadur Rai were injured. They are undergoing treatment at a local health post.
