Lawmakers condemn Kanchanpur incident, demand govt to provide details

KATHMANDU, March 10: Lawmakers from various parties have condemned Kanchanpur incident in the Legislature-Parliament.

KATHMANDU, March 10: Lawmakers from various parties have condemned Kanchanpur incident in the Legislature-Parliament.



 They have demanded government to probe the incident and to provide the details in the House.

They have urged government to take strong against the concern over the incident.


Tarani Dutta Chataut of Nepali Congress, Bhim Rawal of CPN-UML and Agni Sapkota of CPN-Maoist Centre have demanded government to provide compensation to the bereaved family of deceased Govinda Gautam.


Parliamentary party leader of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Ashok Rai said that the statement issued by the Embassy of India has created contradictory situation and demanded the government to make clear about the incident in the parliament.


Likewise, Bijay Kumar Gachchadar led- Forum Democratic Chief Whip Yogendra Chaudhary demanded to declare deceased Govinda Gautam as special martyr.
