KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The government has decided to provide relief amount of Rs one million to the family of Nirmala Panta and Sunny Khuna.

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The government has decided to provide relief amount of Rs one million to the family of Nirmala Panta and Sunny Khuna.



The urgent meeting of the cabinet held on Saturday evening decided to provide relief amount to the family of the victims which was proposed by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Likewise, the government has decided to bear all medical expenses and will provide proper financial assistance to the injured as well.


Similarly, the government has taken the decision made by the all-party meeting to end the ongoing protest in the district and has authorized the committee which was formed to investigate the rape-murder case of Panta to probe the gunfire incident during the protest.
