KATHMANDU, August 24: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has demolished the unauthorized structures built in front of Kathmandu Mall in Sundhara.
On Wednesday, a team including KMC Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) and Kathmandu Valley Police Office chief DIG Meera Chaudhary demolished the structures using bulldozers.

According to the metropolis, the structures were demolished as they were contrary to the building’s design.
Similarly, a bulldozer was also operated in front of the RB complex in Khichapokhari.
In recent times, Kathmandu Metropolis has been demolishing illegal structures built against the original designs of various buildings.
