KATHMANDU, August 16: The government has recommended President Bidya Devi Bhandari to prorogue the ongoing parliament session.
A cabinet meeting held earlier on Monday recommended President Bhandari to end the parliament session to be effective from the mid-night today.

The government had not provided enough business to parliament after it was reinstated for the second time recently.
According to sources, the government is likely to endorse a few ordinances ending the session.
