KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Police have arrested five people for pelting stones at police during the demonstration led by medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain at Balkhu on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Police have arrested five people for pelting stones at police during the demonstration led by medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain at Balkhu on Thursday.



Those arrested in this connection have been identified as Pashupati Khadka, Munendra Rajbhandari, Satish Neupane, Anup Shahi and Avash Khadka, said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bhupendra Khattri, who heads the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

According to SSP Khatri, five persons have been arrested on the charge of carrying out unruly activities and pelting stones at police during the demonstration organized by the Prasai-led group at Balkhu on Thursday.
