JUMLA, April 20: Police have arrested five persons on the charge of smuggling contraband drugs in Jumla on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police led by Inspector Nabin Oli seized 4.2 grams of contraband drugs during a raid at a house at Bharatibada-4 of Chandannath Municipality.

“We have started investigation into those five involved in smuggling contraband drugs,” spokesperson at the Jumla District Police Office Nabin Oli told Republica Online.
In recent months, Jumla District Police Office has started campaign to control rampant smuggling of contraband drugs in the district.
