JUMLA, April 28: A stepdaughter has been arrested on charge of murdering her mother.
Police arrested 26-year-old Hashu Aidi on Saturday afternoon for allegedly killing her 56-year-old mother Suwa Mahatara, a resident of Patarasi Rural Municipality-3 in Jumla district.

According to police, Aidi, who was visiting her maternal home, is suspected of hitting Mahatara with a wooden stick, causing her death.
Police received information about the incident and arrested her. Police said that the necessary investigation is currently underway.
