Acharya was appointed as Chief Attorney of Province 1 by Province Chief Parshuram Khapung on Wednesday upon the recommendation of Province 1 Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki.
Provincial Chief Parshuram Khapung, Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki and other high-ranking officials were present at the oath taking ceremony. Acharya is a resident of Kamal Rural Municipality of Jhapa.
