BIRATNAGAR, July 7: Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Uddhab Thapa, who was appointed to the post on Thursday, has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung administered the oath of office to Chief Minister Thapa as per Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal on Friday.

Likewise, Khapung administered the oath of office to the newly-appointed ministers Kamal Prasad Jabegu and Pradip Kumar Sunuwar. The new ministers have, however, not been assigned any ministerial portfolio so far.
