KATHMANDU, June 25: Standing committee member of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Devendra Poudel has said that the cabinet is likely to be reshuffled following the implementation of the budget.

Speaking at an interaction program on Tuesday organized in the capital, leader Poudel clarified that the party is mulling over the reshuffle of the cabinet and asserted that the portfolio of the ministers having poor performance might be replaced following the implementation of the budget.

Likewise, speaking over the agreement between two chairs during the party unification, leader Poudel reiterated that the two leaders will lead the government for equal periods of time.

Maintaining that the incumbent federal government will rule the country for five years, he said that the governments of all three levels are not likely to be toppled. He, however, said that the federal government could be reshuffled depending on the decision made by the party.

“It is necessary to reshuffle the cabinet for effective performance. However, NCP will lead the government”, he said.
