KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Bibeksheel Sajha Party (BSP) on Sunday filed a complaint at the Commission for Investigation and Abuse of Authority (CIAA) urging the anti-graft body to launch investigation into the alleged irregularities in procurement of wide-body aircraft by Nepal Airlines Corporation.
The BSP delegation led by the party coordinator Ujjwal Thapa registered the complaint at the CIAA headquarters in the capital. The BSP leaders also met with CIAA Spokesperson Rameswor Dangal to urge him investigate the alleged irregularities in procurement of wide-body aircraft.
The party urged the CIAA to investigate and prosecute those politicians, high-ranking government officials and others involved in the irregularities in the procurement of wide-body aircraft.
