KATHMANDU, Aug 14: CPN-UML is going to hold province-level conventions by mid-October.
The secretariat meeting of the party held on Monday fixed the date of the province level convention of all the eight provinces including the Valley Special Province. According to which, the province level convention has been scheduled at Lumbini Province on September 2 and 3, Madhesh Province on September 22 and 23, and Bagmati Province on September 25 and 26.

Similarly, Deputy Secretary General Pradeep Gyawali said that the province level convention of Karnali Province will be held on September 27 and 28, Koshi Province on September 29 and 30, Gandaki Province on October 2 and 3, Valley Special Province on October 6 and 7 and Sudurpaschim Province on October 8 and 9.
“We will complete all province level conventions by mid-October. It strengthens the organization,” he said. Deputy General Secretary Gyawali mentioned that the representatives for the provincial conventions will be selected from the municipal level and at least one-third of the youth will participate.
