KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Police have arrested two persons on the charge of a khukuri attack on film producer Saroj Thapa aka Roj Rana.
The arrested are Bibechan Prajapati, 28, aka Mote of Nayabazaar and Surya Lama aka Katunje, 18, of Dhading on the charge of the attack.
They were arrested by a police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Crime Division and handed over to Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor for further action.

Police said Ratna Bahadur Lama of Kave, who is the alleged mastermind behind the attack, is still on the run.
According to police, Ratna Bahadur orchestrated a plan for the attack following a dispute with Thapa over different transitions including benefits from hooliganism.
He then assigned Prajapati to attack Thapa and provided him Rs 50,000 in advance.
Police investigation states that Thapa also provided additional Rs 30,000 to Prajapati and also assured of providing Rs 3 million after the attack.
