Yak and Yeti organizes its first tennis tournament

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Hotel Yak and Yeti is organizing the Yak & Yeti Tennis Tournament for the first time from 26th September – 2nd October, 2021.

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Hotel Yak and Yeti is organizing the Yak & Yeti Tennis Tournament for the first time from 26th September – 2nd October, 2021.



The opening ceremony was held on September 26, 2021 and the tournament was jointly inaugurated by Chief Guest Bikash Rana and General Manager of Hotel Yak & Yeti Monika Scheiblauer.

The tournament will be contested by 114 players in six event categories (35+ Single /Doubles, 45+ Single /Doubles and 55+ Single /Doubles). There will be a total 108 matches played in knockout format adhering to lawn tennis rules and norms of Nepal Tennis Association (NTA) and International Tennis Federation (ITF).


According to the statement issued by the hotel, this amateur tennis tournament is organized with the aim to bring back some normalcy and fun to our day to day life which was affected by the pandemic.
