KAPILVASTU, May 16: Two women have been elected to the post of ward chairperson in two municipalities of Kapilvastu. Both have been re-elected for a second term.

Sarita Tripathi in Yashodhara Rural Municipality-3 of Kapilvastu and Manju Mishra in Ward 10 of Shivaraj Municipality have been elected as ward chairpersons. Tripathi has been elected as the ward chair from the Nepali Congress and Mishra from the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party.
