JANAKPURDHAM, March 26: A woman has died due to electric shocks in Janakpur.
The deceased has been identified as Gauri Devi, 36, of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-20 Rupaitha, said DSP Ranjan Awa, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Dhanusha.

She was electrocuted while disconnecting the charging cable of the e-rickshaw at around 5:45 AM this morning. She was taken to Janakpurdham Neuro Hospital for treatment where the doctor pronounced her dead, said DSP Awa.
At present, the body of the deceased has been kept at the Provincial Hospital Janakpur for a post-mortem.
