KATHMANDU, Dec 18: One person was killed when a bus hit a motorcycle in Shuklaphanta Municipality-11 Kaluwapur under the East West Highway on Sunday.
According to the police, Bhagarathi Awasthi, 39, died when the bus (Ma 1 Kha 9352) hit the motorcycle (Su Pr 01009 Pa 1207) from behind.

Bhagarathi's husband, Shivaraj Awasthi, 40, and her son, 13, sustained minor injuries. Local police have arrested the driver of the bus.
