POKHARA, Aug 9: The whereabouts of the two youths missing in Fewa Lake since Monday afternoon is still unknown. The search for them was underway till this evening.
Police Inspector at Baidam Police Post, Mohanmani Adhikari said that the search for the missing youths was underway.
He said, “We are still searching the youths since yesterday evening but, their whereabouts is still unknown. The search is on.”
The boat overturned in the middle of the lake when eight passengers were on board. Six other passengers were safely rescued by the bowman and police.
Pratik Shrestha, 19, of Chakrapath and Alan K.C, 23, of Basundhara are still missing in the lake.
Search has been affected in lack of recourses, said Adhikari.
