KATHMANDU, March 16: The weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas and largely clear in the remaining parts of the country today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light snowfall in some places of high hills and mountain regions this afternoon and later tonight.

Furthermore, there is a possibility of snowfall in some parts of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces on Sunday. Snowfall is also likely in some places on Monday as well.
There is currently a mixed influence of westerly low pressure systems and local winds, according to MFD.
