KATHMANDU, July 7: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the party will hold a special general convention soon. Addressing the central committee meeting today, Dahal said that a special general convention should be held soon.

Even though the Maoist Center held its eighth general convention last December, it has not been able to elect the office-bearers, and form local committees and politburo yet. Dahal said that socialism related programs and other issues would be discussed in the upcoming general convention.
