Vehicle carrying Province Assembly member Ashok Yadav attacked

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Cadres of the Janamat Party led by CK Raut have attacked a vehicle of a Madhes Provincial Assembly member. Provincial Assembly member Ashok Yadav's vehicle was vandalized by the cadres of Janamat Party.

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Cadres of the Janamat Party led by CK Raut have attacked a vehicle of a Madhes Provincial Assembly member. Provincial Assembly member Ashok Yadav's vehicle was vandalized by the cadres of Janamat Party.



Yadav's vehicle was attacked and vandalized by Janamat Party cadres in front of the Janaki temple while he was going to cast his vote in the National Assembly election. Yadav's finger was also injured in the attack.

Yadav is the chairman of the provincial affairs parliamentary committee. The provincial assembly has provided him a vehicle in the same capacity. The same vehicle was vandalized by Janamat Party cadres.


Earlier, the cadres of the same party had vandalized the vehicle of Harion Municipality Mayor Ganesh Prasai. According to Dhanusha Police Chief SP Basanta Rajaure, the cadres vandalized two vehicles. He said that those involved in the vandalism have been taken under control.
