Reintroducing the authentic flavor of the northern and southern Indian cuisines, the annual ‘Uttar Daskin Food Festival’ kicked off at Kakori Restaurant, in Soaltee Crowne Plaza, on Thursday. The food festival was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri. The Ambassador applauded the hotel for hosting the food festival.

In the festival, the guests are welcomed with a refreshing masala buttermilk drink and aam pudina pana drinks. Then, a variety of savory vegetarian and non-vegetarian recipes are brought out for the guests. Uttar Dakshin Food Festival is a showcase of North Indian cuisines, and the spicy, yet flavorsome, South Indian cuisines.
The festival is slated to continue till August 27.
