Lok Bahadur Bhandari, the coordinator of Nepal Scout, said that a group vandalized the office when they confronted Khadka Land Development Pvt Ltd not to build the structure as the company still has Rs 31.7 million yet to pay in rent to the Nepal Scout National Headquarters.

Bhandari said that such an act by some people to vandalize and rob the scout office including assaulting the staff and threatening them is a matter of a lot of concern. He also urged the government to catch the people involved in the crime and punish them as per the law.
