Elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rupandehi Constituency No. 2, he said so in a brief comment to the local media in Butwal on Monday morning.

In order to maintain political stability in the country, Paudel stated that although his party went to the elections with the agenda of forming a majority government, it did not receive the mandate for the same. He made it clear that it will continue respecting the mandate given by the people.

He repeatedly said that his party will play a strong and effective role in the federal parliament and provincial assemblies in terms of moving the nation forward.
