UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday issued whip to the party's lawmakers at the Parliamentary Party (PP) meeting held a day before Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives.

"It is mandatory to attend the parliament meeting tomorrow [January 10] and cast your vote in favor of Prime Minister Dahal," UML leader Subash Nemwang quoted Chairman Oli as saying in the meeting.
Chairman Oli said in the meeting that they are sure that the Prime Minister Dahal will secure the requisite majority votes in parliament.
