UML cadres vandalize poling centre, voters terrorized

BHAKTAPUR, Dec 7: UML Cadres hurled stones damaging windows of locals near the polling center at Ganesh Aadharbhut Primary School, Balkot.

According to information provided by Nepali Congress’s Bishnu Khatri, UML cadres have tried to deter Nepali Congress supporters to vote by hurling stones at the houses of NC supporters.

Those involved in the incident are assumed to be close to CPN-UML’s election candidate, Mahesh Basnet from Bhaktapur-2.

While police has arrested those involved in the incident, they have not disclosed identities. 

Ambience of election has been diluted due to the incident at the polling center.
