KANCHANPUR, July 5: Police have arrested two people on charges of possessing dual citizenship in Kanchanpur. Those arrested have been identified as Kalawati Chand, 30 and Gambhir Chand, 58 of Pancheshwar rural municipality-5 of Baitadi.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prakash Dangi at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, they were arrested after a complaint regarding dual citizenship was registered against both of them. The Kanchanpur District Court has given a remand to conduct further investigation against them.
