UDAYAPUR, June 20: Two men died on the spot after their motorcycle collided with a tipper truck in Udayapur on Wednesday. The accident took place on the Gaighat-Beltar road section of the under-construction Madan Bhandari Highway.
The victims have been identified as 35-year-old Jiwan Rai and 36-year-old Khagendra Rai of Barkhedanda, Chaundandigadhi-4 in the district.

A team from the Area Police Office Beltar, District Police, and Hadiya Police Post had rushed to the accident site for rescue but it was already late. The victims' bodies have been taken for post mortem.
Police Inspector Ammar Gajamer stated, “Investigation is ongoing. A search team is looking for the tipper driver who fled the scene.”
