Two more test positive for COVID-19 in Sindhuli, total number climbs to four

SINDHULI, June 6: Two new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Sindhuli district.

SINDHULI, June 6: Two new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Sindhuli district.



Two males from the district were diagnosed with this viral infection during lab tests at Bagmati Provincial Lab in Hetauda on Friday, according to Jitendra Kumar Shah, chief at District Health Office, Sindhuli.

The newly-confirmed cases include a 17-year-old boy from Kamalamai Municipality-11 and a 25-year-old male from Tin Patan Rural Municipality-3.


Another male from Kamalamai-14 had also tested positive for this deadly virus on Thursday.


All of them were taken to isolation wards set up at the District Hospital.


With this, the total number of COVID-19 infections in the district has reached four. Of them, a 27-year-old lady has already recovered and returned home.
